1. System Introduction

There are two types of speed measurement methods: direct method, which directly observes the mechanical movement of the machine or motor, measures the number of rotations of the machine within a specific time, and thus measures the speed of the mechanical movement; the other is the indirect method, which measures the changes in other physical quantities caused by the mechanical rotation, and obtains the speed from the relationship between these changes in physical quantities and the speed. At the same time, the speedometer can be divided into contact and non-contact types depending on whether it is in contact with the rotating shaft. Currently, commonly used speed measurement methods at home and abroad include photoelectric encoder speed measurement method, Hall element speed measurement method, centrifugal tachometer speed measurement method, speed measurement generator speed measurement method, magnetic leakage speed measurement method, stroboscopic speed measurement method, and vibration speed measurement method.
BYD1800-ZSRJ high-precision speed tester is the latest high-precision testing instrument developed by our company based on the principle of vibration speed measurement method. The hardware adopts 24-bit high-precision AD, the highest sampling frequency is 128KHZ/CH synchronous sampling, and special software algorithms greatly improve the accuracy of speed analysis. After being tested by the metrology unit, the speed test accuracy can reach one part per ten thousand.
The testing software provided with the instrument is easy to use and can simultaneously measure different speeds with 4 channels. After testing, the data is automatically saved and can be exported in text format for analysis.

2. Install driver software and application software

When using the speed tester, you need to install the device driver first. The first time a computer connects to the data collector, the device driver needs to be manually installed. The device driver will be automatically installed when connecting to the data collector again in the future. The following describes the method of manually installing the device driver.

2.1 Install the device driver.

1. Find the driver installation directory. If it is a 32-bit operating system, run "installer_x86.exe" in the driver directory. If it is a 64-bit operating system, run "installer_x64.exe" in the driver directory. (Special Note: For WIN10 64-bit system, you need to first disable automatic time updates on the computer and set the computer's time to January 1, 2017. Then restart the computer before installing the driver).
2. Insert the USB cable into the data collector and connect it to the computer. Turn on the data collector power. The system will prompt that new hardware is found.
